DOT'S DIARIES 2010

Wednesday 29th September

Got L, M, N, O AND P for with 'Alphabet of My Holiday'.

Q next... oh no...

Anyway -

'L' is for late, 'cos we were nearly late for the ferry back 'cos at the LAST moment we got lost and ended up in this street market! But a nice man who was selling cheeses with his wife jumped in and took us.

'M' is for 'Mairie' which is the French for town hall. We saw one with loads of flags on it 'cos it was 100 years old.

'N' is for “Naturellement”, that's French for “Of course”. What we all used to say if we couldn't understand someone.

'O' is for orange - orange trees growing near our gite.

And 'P' is for “plein” - French for “full” which we always were after lunch!
