Tuesday 21st September
We’re having a ‘Litter Superstars’ campaign at school. Mrs Rudman talked to us about it at Assembly. The idea is we become ‘Litter Lookouts’ and check at school every day to make sure there’s no litter.
It’s Fred’s idea, he’s getting fed up with picking up crisp packets and finding cans in the bushes round ‘Big Tree’ and near the main gate, though some of those I bet are from where they’ve been doing up this house at the bottom of Fletchley Avenue next to us for AGES.
Dad says they’re having the ground dug out underneath so they can have a swimming pool, neat!
Anyway we’ve got too collect stuff and if we get 20 crisp packets in a month we’re going to get vouchers we can spend at places like W H Smith’s and Marks and Spencer. Same with cans.
Doesn’t have just to be at school, we can do it in our local roads too. Going for it!
