Saturday 28th August

Going to have to CRAM everything about our Dordogne holiday into the next two days ‘cos Diary is banned while we’re away at Sylva’s.

Decided, I’m going to do a list of all the best bits, like this:

1. We had a swimming pool and used to have a “wake-up swim” every day.
2. There was a MEGA bakery in Busserolles our nearest village…
3. … which made DER-LI-CIOUS pastries and crispy baguettes.
4. Dad and I went down every morning and afternoon to get them…
5. … and they were still hot!!
6. You could hire bikes and we went bike riding in the country…
7. ... and found this restaurant which was like someone’s front room…
8. … and had lunch there and it went on for THREE HOURS!!
9. There was a little farm next to us with sheep and goats and horses…
10. … one goat called Jacques tried to eat Mum’s floppy shirt!
