RE-lief!! Wilhelmina is OK!

Mick and Tony the genius car fixers have “sorted” her, it was only her starter motor that went wrong. Mick brought her back first thing this morning and rang the bell, I was up so I came down ‘cos it was really early.

He was standing on the doorstep holding up the keys and when I opened the door he said “I have here - the key to happy holidays! Tell Dad to pay me when you come back. Gave her a once-over too while we were at it. Happy motoring to all!” and he went before I could call Dad. Nice man!

SO she’s all OK for our big trip down to the Dordogne in France. Can’t WAIT, sounds really nice. Found out that out “gite” is on a farm called ‘La Maison du Fournier’ which means ‘The House of the Baker’. Mum’s hoping it means they make that der-licious French bread there every day!
