Last day at school today! Easter holidays! Wonder how man Easter eggs we’ll get. Gran always gives us a HUGE one with chocs in but we have to hide the hard centres from Dad!

Oh yes, Dunley Museum. Great! You could go inside the cockpit of a Lancaster bomber and feel what it was like flying it all the way to bomb Germany when we were fighting the Nazis. They made it all dark and you could hear the searchlights and feel the guns firing at you, made you jump! Also everything shook, so even the dials for things like speed and height went all blurry.

Must have been terrible having to do that because of all the bombs we dropped and all the people who got hurt and killed. But the Nazis were totally evil and we had to do everything we could to beat them. War is awful…
