PC Li came to school today, she had to “take statements” about the van that crashed into Big Gate. She came on her horse – great, we could all stroke him and talk to him. He likes Extra Strong Mints (PC Lo had a bag with her, only we couldn’t give too many!) and he makes a funny kind of noise if you blow on his nose.

Anyway PC Li took lots of notes and Fred told her about what happened ‘cos he saw a bit of it ‘cos he w as looking out of the front window in his house when it happened. Asked what was going to happen to the driver and she said he might have to go to court because of driving carelessly.

Peal said not fair, he was hurt and had to go to hospital. But PC Li said he might have been driving badly and that wasn’t allowed.

I think it’s tough being in the police.
