Did more on the ‘History of Flight’ today. Slam said in lunchbreak he’s getting really bored with it already, he says we can just get in planes and go wherever we want now, so what’s the point of learning about all these “silly old planes” that nobody cars about. Pearl told him off, she said jut imagine what it was like to fly for the first time when people said you couldn’t and ANYWAY if people hadn’t done that no-one would be flying now.

Slam said “Well Mrs R told us that the Wright brothers who did the first flight with an engine only flew for 12 seconds, that’s no good. AND they were only 20 feet in the air!” Genie said “BUT it was the first, everything came from that. What about that basketball player who scored from under his own goal. Bet EVERYBODY said he couldn’t!”

Slam went “That’s different!” Isn’t, though.
