Friday 5th March

Had football today… I scored a GOAL! AND I was IN goal (as usual!) What happened was I was really cold ‘cos the ball was NEVER coming down our end. Except once when Ricky kicked it all the way into a garden of a house next to Big Field. Looked over but couldn’t see it.

We got another ball and went on and it STILL wasn’t coming my end and I was getting colder and colder but then Ricky kicked it again and it did and I ran out. Meant to pick it up but kicked it instead and then ran on ‘cos it was warming me up and followed it and got past Rabina even. Raj tried to stop me but tripped up and suddenly their goal was in front of me and I SCORED!!! Ms Wilcox said “Very unusual Dot but well done anyway!” and I got loads of hugs!!

Wonder if that ever happens in top football games..?
