DOT'S DIARIES 2010


Saturday 27th February

Oh forgot I didn’t finish Diary on Friday about the Mystery House!! Anyway Mum took the envelope off the gate and it wasn’t stuck down, so she undid it. Inside there was this little PAINTING! Of US!!!

It showed me and Mum and Wiz standing outside the gate looking up. It didn’t have many lines or colours or anything but you could just tell, made Mum look just like she does when she’s got something she’s GOT to do. Thought I looked a dork but Mum said it was really nice, so did Dad. Actually looking at it again, it’s not bad.

Mum turned it over and there was a poem written on the back in this very special writing, like someone had designed it. It says:

There is a kindness, even from passers-by
Some days; above price. Calling quietly like a sighing
That softly, simply, wordlessly brings
Joy; and eve-brightening, as light grows dim.

Strange… but nice… bit sad…
