Monday 22nd February
Back to school... Mrs Rudman was telling us in Assembly about the Haiti Appeal. Suzie's 'Groomathon' at Tidy Dog went really well, they were still cutting the last dog's hair at 2 o'clock in the morning!! She got lots of sponsors and people who paid anyway though it was meant to be free, all the money went to the appeal. Two police officers came in to check everything was OK and brought their own police dog back the next day for a trim and put £50 in the box!
Dom sent off his money and he's already had a letter back saying thank you, which is cool.
Fred didn't tell us but he did a sponsored row with some of his old friends from the Royal Navy, they went to the Sea Cadets' place on Handley Reservoir and borrowed something called a whaler, which is a very heavy old wooden boat. He told Mum he was stiff for a week afterwards!
