Dom did it! NOT ONLY did he hit all the sixes he wanted to do for his ‘Hit A Six For Haiti’ (that name was his mum’s idea!) he went over by 6 too!!

It was really exciting – everyone could come out in lunchbreak to watch him, and his dad bowled at him ‘cos they play cricket all the time at home, even in winter!!

Fred put this carpety kind of stuff down so Big Field didn’t get messed up and Dom and his dad were wearing their cricket whites. It was scary ‘cos at first Dom didn’t even hit the ball once and the others didn’t go in the sky like they have to for a six in cricket. it has to be in the air when it goes over the edge of the field.

But then Sarah Amos who likes Dom called out “Just let your eye in, Dom!” and his father grinned and waved and … grrr bedtime!
