Dad’s taken the day off work to look after Mum. Asked if I could have the day off school to help too but Dad just laughed and said “Don’t think Mrs Rudman would approve of that!” Sigh…

Dad got up really late for the school run though, think he was really tired after looking after the house and cooking etc, he kept going back to sleep. In the end he just put his big coat over his pyjamas and drove me there in Wilhelmina in his slippers, LUCK-ily he didn’t have to get out of the car, that would be totally embarrassing.

Told Mrs Redman and so nice, she went and got a card and all the other Fun Mums signed it. It said: “Sorry you’re sick” and on the inside – “But don’t come back too soon, let someone else find out what you do all day!” which was clever of Mrs R. When Dad saw it he said “Too true!”
