Monday 1st February

Dom was practising today in lunchbreak for his sponsored hitting 100 sixes in three hours for Haiti. Fred was helping him ‘cos it wasn’t too wet and he loves cricket so he was good at throwing the balls so Dom could hit them.

It was a good day for it ‘cos it was sunny so if you could imagine it wasn’t cold (I couldn’t, brrrrr) it was like a sunny day watching cricket.

Anyway Pearl and Slam and Genie and I were all watching and we’d run and get the ball if it was inside Big Field but over the boundary.

If it went outside on the path or in the bushes though Fred had to go. After a bit he got fed up and went and got Ms Barthes (think she was the only one in the staff room just then) who was still eating her sandwich but came out anyway to help!

Dom did 18 sixes in half-an-hour, not bad!
