Saturday 30th January
Got to have my homework about snow in on Monday and STILL got one thing to think up about why I don't like snow.
Don't REALLY understand WHY we've got to say why we do AND why we don't like snow. I mean, either you do or you don't really - you're either a snow person or you're not. Mum said it might be so we can learn how to “make a case” like they do in the university debating societies, where you learn how to argue in favour of something you don't actually believe in.
She said it's supposed to be a way of training your mind. And good if you're going to be a lawyer and have to go to court for someone you don't really believe, 'cos everyone has a right to be defended if they're accused of something.
Hmmm. Don't think I could do that!
I know what, I'll ask Dad! He's always growly about snow.
