SAVED by DAD!

Was still in a tizz about the tray – and my hands were all red today from getting that PANTS eye make-up off and Dad saw, we were getting breakfast in bed for Mum and he asked. So I told him and showed him. He went “Oh you mean our ghastly wedding present from Auntie Mimi – we only keep it for when she comes. Don’t worry I’ll fix it!”

So while I took Mum’s breakfast up he went out to the shed where he’s got a zillion pots of paints and stuff (all very neat) and when I came down he went “Dot!” (kind of whispering) “Come and look!” and it w as BRILL! Actually looked better than when we had it before, really glossy. He’d used something called ‘Old Sebastian’s’ Wood and Runnel Restorer’ , he had JUST enough left.

Trouble is it looks so good we’ll have to explain that!
