Tuesday 19th January

Still REALLY worried about the tray we used for our igloo roof. Mum noticed, asked me what the matter was on the way to school 'cos I was thinking about it then and trying to work out what to do. Luckily no-one's used it yet, and it's kind of hidden next to the kitchen unit thing behind the door.

WISH we'd asked, Mum always says “I don't mind if you ask”, didn't and now BIG MESS!!

Told Genie and she's worried too now - she said how about trying to fix the scratches with some brown eye make-up, she thinks her mum might have some in her drawer, going to look tonight and text me. We decided on a code in case anyone saw, so if Genie texts “Have you heard Van Morrison's 'Brown-Eyed Girl'? It's great!” she's got the make-up, and if it's “Have you heard Van Morrison's 'Brown-Eyed Girl'? It's pants!” she hasn't.
