Tuesday 5th January

Had a really skiddy walk down to school today… Wiz kind of went skating on one icy patch! When we got to school Fred was putting salt down near Big Gate ‘cos some water had frozen there too.

He was all wrapped up in a big scarf and a beanie hat and his long thick dark blue coat from when he was in the Navy, looked really funny. We said “Happy New Year Fred!” and he said “Don’t mind this stuff in a nice single malt whisky but not too keen on it out here!”

Great seeing Genie again, she went to her gran’s in Scotland and their car got stuck in the snow on the way and they had to be rescued and on Christmas Day they went tobogganing, luc-ky!

Pearl and Slam went to their Aunt Alicia’s in Barbados with their Dad so they had a sunny Christmas.

And Darren won a Cyber-Santa gaming challenge on his computer. NAT-urally!!
